Devices older than 3-4 years old may struggle with connectivity and loss of data. In our experience we have found that Apple devices older than 2018 do not have enough RAM memory to run currently available moving maps and graphics requirements.

We too struggle with big companies and their planned hardware obsolescence.  :(
